Making Heart Shaped Muffins and Cupcakes

Do you have your heart set on heart-shaped muffins or cupcakes?

No pun intended. Honest. That’s the first thing that came to mind. And then I realized how it fit right into the subject!

For lack of a better intro, we’re sticking with it (but I do hope your muffins don’t stick!).

Maybe you want heart-shaped muffins for a bridal shower brunch, or heart cupcakes for any shower. It can be done, and I hope this post makes it a little bit easier for you!

Honestly, I didn’t find much for this roundup. If I were the one doing the shopping, I would probably be looking for a regular (normal, normal, normal please!!) one-dozen metal muffin pan that makes heart-shaped muffins. But as the creator, could I find that? Nope. They probably exist, but not at my sources.

I did find some mini-muffin pans, though. I also found various silicone muffin/cupcake pans . . . some of which are pushing the limits of that description . . . and heart-shaped silicone liners. However, if you didn’t know this already, it IS possible to make heart shaped muffins or cupcakes using a regular muffin pan and regular (disposable) cupcake liners. Tutorials for that at the bottom of the post.
