I expect you to be practical about your purchases. 😉 However, you can eat heart-shaped waffles any day of the year for any ordinary breakfast. . . or supper. . . so maybe a new waffle iron would be a practical purchase. You decide!

Metal Cookie Cutters
In case you don’t need pancake rings but you do need cookie cutters. Not as convenient, perhaps, but more frugal if you already own them, or need them for other purposes. Just make sure they are all metal and be careful!
Just a Tip
Making enough waffles for your guests, in a timely manner, with just one waffle maker, may be a frustrating exercise. If you have more than a handful of guests, and a regular waffles maker, make some waffles heart-shaped and some square (or round–whatever your waffle maker makes). You’ll get the job done faster without having to buy multiple heart waffle makers.
Same with pancakes. They don’t all need to be heart shaped if you have a large number of guests!
