When I think of a “winter wonderland” I think of blankets of pure white snow, and snow and ice sparkling in the sunlight. This post is full of plenty of snow, ice, sparkles, and light, but there are other things that go along with a winter wonderland too!
Snow and Ice
Brrrr. But how pretty! Happily, we can duplicate the look indoors without the freezing temperatures. 😉
Use it in centerpieces, tablescapes, or winter scenes.
Spread some snowflakes around! Buy snowflakes (like those below) or make your own.
Things That Sparkle
Vase filler, candle holders, vases, etc.
On anything you buy (like ribbon or snowflakes) or to use in crafts.
Glitter at Target.
Glitter at Amazon.com.
The more sparkles the better! 😉

There are many types of candles, including floating candles. If you can’t (or don’t want to ) use real candles, you might look into fake ones (especially tea lights).
Strings of lights, fake candles, or other lighting. See icicle lights here.
What’s more woodlandy than moss? Well, trees, technically. Oh, well.
Natural Dry Sheet Moss
Moss at JrRoses.
One of the beauties of nature that still look as good in winter as any other time of year!
More ideas: tree branches, birch logs, tree slices, berries, and bark.
Real or fake evergreens in the form of garlands, potted trees, swags, and branches.

All Things White
Such as lilies, baby’s breath, roses, carnations, football mums, button poms, calla lilies and mini calla lillies, and spider mums.

Silver and Maybe a Touch of Gold
The color silver is a beautiful complement to white in a winter wonderland.

That’s it! Snow, ice, things that sparkle, evergreens and other natural elements, and white and silver!
